Lycos U.K. has introduced RSS feeds into its email service, giving members the option of subscribing to news services, reports NetImperative. The portal said it will provide users with an alternative to email-based news subscription services; users won't need to give away their email addresses and so can avoid the possibility of receiving spam. News sources include the BBC, the Guardian and Reuters. Users can also add feeds from any site that offers the service.
