Looksmart announced the launch of Furl.net, a personal online filing cabinet that saves content from websites with up to five gigabytes of media storage, reports iMedia. The toolset is free but requires registration. A publisher's content can be saved in text format and can be shared with other users through links. The company says Furl helps generate additional traffic and reaches new visitors for publishers. LookSmart says the increase of user stickiness to sites help publishers enhance their search advertiser relationships.
