Lonely Planet TV in Beta Test

Tokyo

Australian Travel publisher Lonely Planet has rolled out a video network online called Lonely Planet TV, according to ThreeMinds.
The network's format combines professional travel documentaries with user-generated tales from the road. Lonely Planet has experience in production, having developed a base of video content through the Lonely Planet Six Degrees documentary series, originally developed for broadcasters such as the Discovery Channel and Current TV.

Australia Tourism Board is at least one advertiser spotted on the site.

ThreeMinds found the site well-rounded: "Though the site's design is clean, it still retains some of the backpacker vibe with channels like 'Oh F^^^!, Oh Wow!' - the best and worst of travel."
