Livedoor, a large Japanese ISP that also runs a blog search service, has acquired Innovation Interactive, a performance marketing firm that owns search marketer 360i and search software firm SearchIgnite, reports DM News. Financial details of the deal were not revealed. Livedoor has $1 billion in cash assets and will help Innovation expand to Asia, Central and South America, and Europe in the coming months - and make acquisitions of its own. The deal is the latest in a handful of search-related mergers and acquisitions this year.
