Microsoft VP Christopher Payne is reported to be leaving the company, the second Live exec recently to do so, according to The Seattle Times.
At Microsoft, Payne is the VP of Live Search. Though the move has yet to be officially announced, an insider source has reportedly confirmed the departure.
Blake Irving, VP of the technology platform that powers Microsoft's Live had previously announced his resignation from the company.
The two departures are viewed as unrelated and not part of a purge of executives resulting from Microsoft's under-performance in the search market.
