MSNBC today launched the largest BlogAds buy ever, according to BlogAds founder Henry Copeland, writes Adrants (via MediaBuyerPlanner). To promote MSNBC's digital day on Wednesday - a day on which it will be taking a close look at "all things digital" - it purchased ads on 800 blogs, surpassing passing Audi's buy on 286 blogs last spring. The ad links to an MSNBC blog page, but as Adrants points out… the landing page itself doesn't make a very clear connection between it and the ad, or what MSNBC is trying to accomplish.
