Some seize head-start
on beauty-based gaming
Konami, a Japanese software maker known for video game classics like Castlevania and Contra, plans to launch software for the Nintendo DS that will actually improve your skin, reports Reuters.
The software is a skin care guide that gives beauty tips based on basal body temperature and hormone balance. DS users select a target date, such as a wedding, and then get customized, daily skin care instructions leading up to the big day.
The skin care software will go on sale on October 18 in Japan for $37 (4,500 yen). There are currently no plans for an overseas launch.
