AdWeek: Grey Wins $270 Mil. Kmart

Our condolences go out to Grey Global for taking the Kmart account. They were almost saved by Friday's Campbell-Ewald pitch, but the attention of the misfit collection of non-marketing Kmart executives and bankers was captivated by the shiny baubles of Grey's Hispanic, promotions, events, brand identity, traditional media and African-American divisions. In what appears to be a strategic shift from previous spending, interactive media was not included in the mix.
