Internet Retailer: Fastest growth in web page views is with kids aged 2-11, study says
In the maturing realm of internet usage, the big growth seems to be in tikes, according to new Nielsen/NetRatings figures. Kids 2-11 are the fastest growing age segment online, with pageviews in October growing 36 percent from last year, compared to 15 percent growth overall. About 13 million kids in the age group spent an average of seven hours online in the month, viewing 264 pages - more than twice as much content as they did last year. Favorite content varied greatly by gender, with little girls favoring IM services, Cartoon Network and DisneyChannel. Little boys liked DisneyChannel, RealOne Player, Kraft Entertainment and Amazon.com.
