Viacom on Tuesday said it has signed a deal with Kanoodle to serve contextual text ads on CBS TV Media Group websites - 17 local station sites revamped and relaunched since July - writes MediaPost. Kanoodle will serve targeted text links based on particular topics that appear on each site. The focal point of each site is its video streaming product, which provides free access to each station's archived video libraries and ach day's news features. Kanoodle offers advertisers the ability to have their text ads appear on specific pages of sites.
