Jupiter Sees Video Ad Market Growing Slowly

IAR: Online Video Ad Market Growing, Still Small

Jupiter Research released a study (no press release found, just this report) that concludes that 65% of marketers surveyed (no mention of sample size) plan to try video advertising in the next year, but only 25% are planning to spend more than $50,000. Furthermore video ads amount to only 3% of online ad spending presently, the study claimed. Many advertisers think the audience for the ads are too small and another complaint is the high price of the ads.
