Jobster has entered phase two of its new business model by adding pay-per-applicant job listings, reports TechCrunch. Phase one was offering free job listings to companies - a direct response to Monster, which charges up to $475 per listing.
Though listings are still free, those who choose to pay a per-applicant fee are shown on top of the search. In beta, Jobster is currently charging $5 per qualified job applicant that a company reels in via Jobster.
Jobster is currently the exclusive Job Listing provider for Facebook, and new listings will eventually make their way here. However, Facebook is in theory allowing other services on board, thanks to its new developer platform.
