Jeff Bell Leaves Chrysler for Microsoft

Chrysler Group VP of Product Strategy Jeff Bell, who championed new media, gaming and online marketing at the automaker, will be leaving and will join Microsoft, writes AdAge. "I am the happiest I have ever been in my life," he is quoted as having writtne in an email from Europe.


Bell joined Chrysler from Ford in spring 2001 as VP of marketing communications, overseeing advertising for Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler. He will likely be remembered there as strong and early supporter of new marketing, according to AdAge. Another well-known colleague at Chrysler, Julie Roehm, left earlier this year to join Wal-Mart as SVP of marketing.
