iPhone Talk of Show at CITA Wireless Conference

Apple didn't have an exhibit at this week's CTIA Wireless 2007 conference in Orlando, but its iPhone was the product that had everyone buzzing.

AT&T's chief operating officer, Randall L. Stephenson, informed the conference's 40,000 attendees that over a million consumers have asked for information on the iPhone, Ad Age reports. "They want to be one of the first ones to get the next cool thing," he said.

AT&T will be the exclusive provider for the iPhone via its AT&T mobile unit, formerly Cingular Wireless. The phones, which are due to go on sale as early as June, will retail for $500-$600.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone in January, saying he anticipated selling 10 million units.
