InternetBrands has acquired consumer review site ApartmentRatings.com, according to a press release from the company.
ApartmentRatings features over 500,000 reviews of 60,000 apartments across the country. It also acts as a community hub for renters to trade stories and tips. The site adds to InternetBrands' portfolio of sites, including RealEstateABC.com.
The site is free from advertising by apartment owners or others in the apartment business. That separation allows the site, in the words of its founders, to operate in an unbiased way that makes it more valuable to the community.
