AdWeek: Web, TV Tops Among Consumers
The internet turned out to be the most popular medium among people 18 to 54, with almost half giving it the nod as the first choice, according to a new Online Publishers Association study. TV came in second place, with a little more than a third of respondents nominating television as their prime choice. Two out of five also said that they spend more time on the web than they watch TV, although self-reported studies are notorious for underestimating television usage. The internet proved to be the only medium that people thought they were spending more time on.
