Internet Shopping Is Up

MediaPost: Internet Shopping Recorded Significant Increases in 2002

According to The Media Audit, in a survey of 85 metro areas, those who made 5 or more online purchases was up from 19.7% in 2001 to 22.5% in 2002. The top ten "5 plus purchase" markets are Washington, Ann Arbor, Boston (my town), San Jose, Austin, San Francisco, Atlanta, Madison, Seattle-Tacoma, and Allentown-Bethlehem.
