Pew/Internet: The Internet and Daily Life

Pew reports that most Americans with access (seven out of eight) say the Internet is a daily part of their lives and that they would be adversely affected (two thirds) with its absence. But, even though they do all these things online, they are still more likely to get news, play games, pay bills, send cards, listen to music and even communicate with friends and schedule appointments off the Internet.
