WPP Group, the world's second-largest agency holding company, reported increases in 1H05 billings, revenues, profits and earnings, reflecting its acquisition of Grey Global, writes MediaPost. Media services and traditional advertising remained the drivers of WPP's expansion, with revenues for those operations increasing 26.6 percent over 1H04. Combined direct, internet, and interactive services now represent more than 15 percent of the group's revenues - about $10 billion a year - according to the earnings release.
