Infusionsoft Pushes All-In-One Marketing Platform Argument, Buying GroSocial


Two Together

Infusionsoft is one of a dozen or so companies looking to be a one-stop marketing shop for smaller and medium-sized businesses, integrating various media channels, now including the services of GroSocial.

In addition to adding the GroSocial semi-automated social media management services to their stable, Infusionsoft gains indirect relationships with some hefty clients, such as eBay and Skullcandy.

The GroSocial service includes a drag-and-drop interface on top of a platform integrating social properties such as Facebook pages with viral marketing campaign capabilities. Infusionsoft already had a widget that integrated that service with their own sales and marketing CRM platform.

GroSocial started up less than three years ago and today has more than 30,000 users. It has 19 employees, versus Infusionsoft's roughly 350. The GroSocial team will remain in Utah, working with the Infusionsoft Arizona headquarters.

Infusionsoft has generally created its own platform elements, with the previous exception of its acquisition of CustomerHub (online membership customer portal tool) two years ago.
