InfoSpace Buys Switchboard

CNET: InfoSpace to bring Switchboard on board

InfoSpace will buy online yellow pages listings company Switchboard for about $160 million in cash. That price constituted about a 30 percent premium over Switchboards pre-announcement price of about $6 per share. Investors seemed to like the deal all around, bidding up InfoSpace's stock 14 percent.
