CMP Media's IT title, InformationWeek, plans to add 60,000 digital subscribers to its circulation base on October 3, according to BtoB Online (via MediaBuyerPlanner). For the digital editions, the company is using Olive Software's XML-based platform, which will allow offline caching, forwarding, printing, and animation capabilities for both editorial and advertising content.
The last time InformationWeek added subscribers to its circulation base was over three years ago, when it grew from 400,000 to 440,000 print subscribers, according to publisher Scott Vaughn.
