  • Acquisio, which vends pay-per-click management software Acquisio SEARCH, now fully supports Microsoft AdCenter.

Agencies and Marketing Execs:

  • Avenue A/Razorfish is changing its name to Razorfish. The company bore both names since 2004 — at which time Avenue A's parent aQuantive purchased SBI.Razorfish — even though it operates as a single entity. "Although both Avenue A and Razorfish are excellent choices as standalone brands," said CEO Clark Kokich, "the Razorfish name enjoys stronger brand equity around the world."

Biz Buzz:

  • Boxee.tv — an application that Apple TV users can install in their units — now has support for Hulu, CBS and Comedy Central, enabling people to consume internet-streamed content on televisions.
  • Digital media firm Mediasmith launched M3, "a customizable blueprint that integrates Emerging Media Technologies, Social Media, and Search," the company stated.
  • Real estate appraisal site Zillow is cutting 25 percent of its staff.
  • The Digital Entertainment Corporation of America — which "[bridges] the gap between Hollywood, Madison Avenue and Silicon Valley" — just celebrated its one-year anniversary with Boing Boing TV. The company recently signed cewebrity YouTube duo Smosh.
