- The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene launched a Facebook page, and an accompanying app, to encourage condom use.
- Disney tapped Oddcast to deploy a viral campaign for Surrogates, an upcoming film. Users can upload photos, change their ages, moods and races, then send "surrogates" of themselves to friends.

- Google has launched AdSense for mobile search.
- ESPN, Platform-A, Millennial Media and USA TODAY have joined PointRoll's ad network, which enables them to run rich media ads on iPhone.
