  • Erik Berk is now CFO at TMP Directional Marketing, a local search marketing firm. He previously served as CFO at Ziff Davis.
  • Former SVP Brian McAndrews of Microsoft joined the Clearwire board.
  • Yahoo exec Larry Heck is joining Microsoft's search development team.
  • Aisha Faridi is now account executive at in-text ad firm Kontera.

Biz Buzz:

  • Next New Networks joined the Interactive Advertising Bureau. The company brings original TV programing to the 'net; it plans to work with the IAB to build upon existing online video ad technology.
  • Sirius XM is gearing up … for bankruptcy.

Campaigns of Note:

  • The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene launched a Facebook page, and an accompanying app, to encourage condom use.
  • Disney tapped Oddcast to deploy a viral campaign for Surrogates, an upcoming film. Users can upload photos, change their ages, moods and races, then send "surrogates" of themselves to friends.

Mobile:

  • Google has launched AdSense for mobile search.
  • ESPN, Platform-A, Millennial Media and USA TODAY have joined PointRoll's ad network, which enables them to run rich media ads on iPhone.
