Sudarsono

The Defense Minister of Indonesia, a country not particularly famed for openness, is apparently a blogger, writes Defense Industry Daily. So far, Juwono Sudarsono has been talking about politics, development and defense-related matters as well. His blog accepts comments, and the exchanges with the global public in his post "Military Business and the Reform Process" are especially interesting, according to DID.

The item notes that although the US Strategic Command has a 4-star blogging general, his was an internal effort (and apparently somewhat successful).

No word yet whether U.S. Defense Secretary Rumsfeld is ready to launch a blog or allow public comments on the conduct of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
