IAC/InterActiveCorp reported an 80 percent quarterly profit increase, reaching $69.4 million on revenues of $1.6 billion in the first quarter, and 14 percent revenue growth from 1Q04, writes ClickZ. IAC's LendingTree and RealEstate.com accounted for $105.8 million in revenue, a 166 percent increase from a year ago. Its local and media services businesses - Citysearch, Evite, ServiceMagic, and Entertainment Publications Inc. (EPI) - increased revenue 29 percent, to $41.2 million.
