IAC/InterActiveCorp stockholders approved the spin-off of travel site Expedia, reports Internet Retailer. IAC will no longer have ownership interest in Expedia, which will become an independent publicly traded company consisting of IAC's travel and travel-related businesses, including TripAdvisor.com. IAC operates several retail internet and TV-related companies, including e-tailer and cataloger Cornerstone Brands. It also operates the Home Shopping Network.
