IAC, HuffPo Ink Online Advertising Pact

Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp announced on Monday that it had reached an advertising agreement with popular website The Huffington Post, reports Reuters. IAC Advertising Solutions will be the exclusive seller of advertising for The Huffington Post, which receives more than 2 million unique visitors per month. It launched a year ago.

"The Huffington Post has an extremely influential audience and loyal readership and is a perfect partner for IAC Advertising Solutions," Mort Greenberg, vice-president of sales strategy & development for IAC Advertising Solutions, said in a statement.

"Their fresh approach to blend unique ad programs onto their pages will help us capture the attention of media buyers, and offer great value for advertisers," Greenberg said.

HuffPo combines breaking news, media commentary and a group blog with some 700 contributors from the worlds of politics, entertainment and media. IAC Advertising Solutions is one of the largest online advertising sales groups, dealing in search, media, and direct marketing.
