Profits at IAC/InterActiveCorp came in below estimates for the second quarter, reports The New York Times.

Revenue at IAC divisions such as Home Shopping Network and Ticketmaster were down in the quarter. Higher costs associated with marketing and other operations also ate into revenues.

IAC head Barry Diller said the company would work in the second half of the year to turn these numbers around.
