Big changes ahead for IAC

InterActive Corp (IAC) has named Jim Safka chief executive of its Ask.com search property, reports Reuters.

The executive shift is the latest as IAC plans to spin off four of its largest businesses into separate entities this year. IAC will retain its web media and advertising businesses.

Before the move, Safka was chief executive of IAC's Match.com, from 2004 to 2007.
