Ifbyphone will be supporting the HubSpot App Marketplace with its LeadResponder application. The deal highlights the ROI many companies receive from a voice-based marketing automation application, which is Ifbyphone's specialty. Its premise is that leads are often lost in the gap of time between a prospect completing a web form and the follow up response from the sales rep.
Ifbyphone has found that the odds of contacting a lead increases 21 times within five minutes of the original outreach versus 30 minutes. Also, inbound marketing leads close 22 times more often when contacted in five minutes.
How to Track Phone Sales from Search
Technology provided by Ifbyphone and other companies, such as Call Source have made it easy to convert web leads to an actual sale, writes Mike Moran at Search Engine Guide. Tracking every phone sale back to SEO, PPC, or whatever marketing tactic led to the sale used to be an IT-intensive process, he writes.
Back end technology needed to be integrated to the user interface to create a "Call Me" button. There was also the telephony piece, requiring different phone numbers displayed to users depending on where they came from, respectively.
Google's Click to Call
A major player in this space is Google's Click-to-Call, which it launched in 2010. Club Med incorporated the feature in its newly-released iPhone and iPad app, designed to have consumers share and book their vacation from these devices.
