HP is kicking off a series of photo contests that will be played out online in conjunction with the release of the film "Shrek the Third," reports MediaPost.

Each week hp.com/shrek will create a theme like "My Little Ogre." Participants must submit a family photo that best fits it. Users will then be asked to vote on the best photos, with each week's three most popular entering a drawing for the top prize. HP will also give away 600 additional prizes weekly.

The contest is designed to get users acquainted with HP products.
