Hoping to win more than the White House this November, House Democrats reserved about $35 million in TV advertising for 31 congressional seats throughout the country, reports the Associated Press.
The targets include 19 seats currently held by Republicans, including two in Ohio and two others in New Mexico. Other prized seats currently under Republican trousers include those in New York, Virginia, New Jersey, Minnesota, Arizona, Connecticut, Alaska and Missouri. Advertising is expected to run in September and October.
Democrats currently hold a 236-199 majority in the House. With regard to the Presidential election, Obama eclipses McCain in social networking popularity, online fundraising and online buzz.
