Internet News: Wireless Hotmail Goes Premium
Joining the free to fee trend, MSN's Hotmail will cease to offer free access to its email system via mobile phone and begin charging users $19.95 per year. This follows the company's previous move in June to charge users for accessing multiple email account using its POP mail feature. Users of that service now pay $19.95 per year.
The trend towards fee increases daily with both companies realizing they must charge to remain financially viable and users relinquishing themselves to the end of the free Internet party.
