HotBot Re-Names Search Sources

SearchEngineWatch: Changes Afoot at HotBot

HotBot changed the labels of three out of the four search engine databases it searches. Citing usability and awareness studies, HotBot changed Inktomi to HotBot; AllTheWeb to Lycos; and Teoma to Ask Jeeves. The original names were, and still are, the search technologies behind the new names.
