EA has forged plans to bring its popular gaming titles to the Mac's OS X sooner than planned, reports Next Generation.
Announced this week at San Francisco's Worldwide Developers Conference, the new gameplan hastens the porting process so that Mac users can buy the same day other console users do. Typically, Mac users had to wait months to play even mainstream fare.
The first four games to arrive on OS X are Command & Conquer 3, Need for Speed Carbon, Battlefield 2141 and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Madden NFL 08 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 will simultaneously debut on the Mac and other consoles later this year.
