In a survey released last week by Shopzilla, half of consumers said higher gasoline prices would make them shop online: 29.27 percent said they are somewhat more likely, and 20.34 percent said a lot more likely, to shop online, Internet Retailer reports. When Shopzilla asked the same question six months ago, those proportions were 24.5 percent and 15.0 percent, respectively. Some forecasters say gasoline will be selling at $4 a gallon by summer.
