Hachette Filipacchi Media announced it will relaunch all publication-specific websites by the end of 2008, reports Mediaweek.

The revamp will focus on increasing user-engagement points on each site. Community features will appear; and search functionality, for archived recipes and the like, will improve.

A Hachette executive said original content would continue to serve as a key site component. Magazine articles will be repurposed for online use, and fresh online content will also be created. The publisher hired a number of new staffers to work on digital marketing and user engagement.

The top-to-bottom revitalization begins with a refurbished Woman's Day website.
