Email accreditation and reputation service provider Habeas unveiled plans this week for a service that allows email senders to check their email reputation as perceived by ISPs and other receivers of email, reports ClickZ. The program seeks to ensure that the sender isn't incorrectly labeled as a spammer. RepCheck considers three criteria that are usually used in receivers' anti-spam efforts: authentication, infrastructure irregularities, and blacklists. Habeas RepCheck will be made available to qualifying senders by the end of July as part of a free online trial.
