Email reputation firm Habeas has forged an alliance with eco, which is the Association of the German Internet industry and established whitelist provider for the country.
Habeas identifies and certifies email marketers who comply to a set of standards relevant — in this case — to the European market. ISPs thus spend less time determining a messenger's eligibility for whitelist status.
"Email reputation is one of the most important issues facing senders today because it ensures their messages reach the inbox and are read by customers," said Sven Karge, head of eco's content department.
"Through our partnership with Habeas, we are working to increase the legitimacy of the messages people receive, thereby increasing their trust in the senders."
As a result of the liaison, SafeList, Habeas' whitelist offering, is now widely available to email marketers targeting the German audience.
Germany is currently home to the largest internet economy in the EU.
