Having trouble starting

Stating a power issue at one of its data centers was to blame, Facebook experienced technical difficulties Friday due in part to the breadth of activity sparked by user-generated applications, reports Mashable.

After opening its back-end to developers to create any application they can think of for the social network, Facebook is adjusting to unprecedented growth since the move. Facebook has said it might regulate the number of new application inclusions in the future.
