AdWeek reports that Agency.com has begun an online ad campaign that relies heavily on blogs to promote Discovery Networks' Greatest American show, placing ads on blogs through BlogAds and on the Gawker and Friendster blog network. Greatest American also has its own blog, hosted on AOL's Live Journals, and will post brief profiles of nominees and invite users to comment and vote on the website. In addition, Agency.com is running ads for the program on AOL and various other sites, including TVGuide.com and NYTimes.com.
