Ad rep firm Gorilla Nation was chosen to sell ad space for BestofMedia Group's four top Canadian online properties: Tom's Hardware, Tom's Guide, Tom's Games and The Torque Report).
The liaison is exclusive. And with the exception of a few US advertisers, the sites will primarily court Canadian vendors.
BestofMedia Group operates in 12 countries and serves about 25 million unique visitors per month. It is thought to be among the top online tech publishing firms in the world.
For its part, Gorilla Nation is no small chimp. The company represents Gawker Media — a major blog network, which also serves about 25 million unique visitors per month — exclusively in Canada. It also conducts display ad sales for Mattel, Hallmark and Lucasfilm, which owns the Star Wars franchise. Gorilla Nation also added video ad delivery capabilities to its suite late last year.
