Goolag Uses Google to Pinpoint Site Vulnerabilities

Telltale symbolism

Hacking group Cult of the Dead Cow has released a tool that harnesses the power of Google search.

Called Goolag, the open-source software uses Google to scan websites for vulnerabilities, according to PC World.

Using the vast amount of data available through Google to hack into a website is nothing new, but Goolag simplifies the process for novice hackers.

The Cult kindly positions Goolag as "one more tool for website owners to patch up their online properties."
