Google launched a software application that it says speeds up internet use for broadband web users, according to SearchEngineWatch. The Google Web Accelerator (Windows only) uses a bag of tricks, including pre-loading material; caching popular pages on Googles own, faster, servers; serving only the parts of pages that have changed; and employing compression.
