Google Sets Growth Expectations Lower

BBC: Google warns sales growth to slow

Google said that it expected sales growth to slow, saying that its performance in the third quarter is simply too high to realistically expect to continue. Third quarter sales more than doubled to $806 million, up from $394 million the year before. Net profits amounted to $52 million for the quarter. Google said it expected fiercer and fiercer competition, which would limit growth.
