Google Seeks to Set Price Today

DM News: Google Moves to Price IPO Today

Google said it will move to price its initial public offering this afternoon. It announced it had asked the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to declare its registration effective at 4 p.m. Trading would commence sometime thereafter under the ticker symbol GOOG. As most markets close at 4 p.m. Eastern Time, actual trading would presumably commence Wednesday morning.
