You may have noticed something strange lately at Google. Some searches that should display thousands of results only show a handful, even though Google itself says there are thousands of matches. This "bug," highlighted by The Register, causes Google to display highly reduced result sets. The explanation hypothesized in the article is an algorithm change designed to thwart Google page spam.
