Google Gives Rebate to Those Who Try AdWords

SeachEngineJournal: Google Offering A Contextual AdWords Rebate

Google sent a message to advertisers that have avoided the contextual side of its offerings, giving them a 20 to 25 percent rebate on AdWords, hoping to attract back many search marketers who early on learned that the contextual clicks tended not to click as well as the search clicks garnered on its AdSense network. Google has improved contextual pricing by reducing click costs on sites that generate lots of clicks and few transactions. Google listed six other reasons to try contextual ads again, but none are more compelling than the seventh: the rebate of up to $1,500.
