Google Gains 1,900+ Salesforce in BellSouth Deal

AdWeek: BellSouth to Sell Google Ads to Locals

RealPages.com, the online yellow pages for BellSouth, signed a deal with Google to flog its local keyword advertising. In an arrangement similar to others struck by yellow pages sales organizations with other online properties, Google online advertising will be sold by BellSouth's 1,900-strong sales force across the Southeast. Other efforts to involve yellow pages sales forces in the past haven't resulted in much in the way of online sales. Google already has in place a search distribution agreement with BellSouth.
